Schools are becoming more racially, culturally and ethnically diverse. While these shifts in demographics offer teachers a rich environment for learning about and supporting the experiences of children from different backgrounds, it can also be challenging to find the most effective ways to help all students succeed academically and learn to get along with each other. This session will equip administrators and teachers with proactive approaches for creating classrooms and school cultures that promote diversity and inclusion, celebrate differences, and ensure that all children see their school as a place where they belong.
